The place where you move your audience — not by thinking about how you speak, but by knowing what you want to say.
For many people from other countries, standing up and speaking in front of others — whether it’s a small group or a larger audience — can feel especially challenging.
But the truth is: it’s not as hard as you think. You’re more capable than you realize.
This course gives you the tools and confidence to express yourself with clarity, presence, and power — while also helping you develop your Danish.
You’ll learn how to:
- Speak with intention and purpose
- Ground yourself
- Be physically and mentally present
- Improvise with confidence
- Motivate and inspire your listeners
- Master the three circles of concentration
Strong presentation skills are valuable in any professional setting — and they’re also a great way to take your Danish to the next level.
You’ll work with key elements of spoken Danish, including:
- Prosody: rhythm and intonation
- Danish vowels and vowel shifts
- Vocoids and diphthongs
- The Danish glottal stop
About me.
I’m a trained actor with a background in Theatre Studies from the University of Copenhagen. I also hold a BA in Danish and have been teaching Danish as a second language for about 15 years.
